Sanda Educational Centre includes Secondary and Upper Secondary school for both ordinary pupils as well as pupils with different handicaps such as intellectual disabilities. Sanda Upper Secondary School is an upper secondary school with 950 pupils studying in the fields of economics, business, social science, science, child and recreation. We also have an elite profile in sports including basketball, ice-hockey, football, floorball, swimming, figure-skating, orienteering, golf. Our school is in the forefront of ICT use within our municipality. We provide our pupils with their own computers to facilitate and individualize education for all pupils. Thus both teachers as well as pupils use ICT of different kind on a daily basis. Sanda Upper Secondary School has taken part in international exchanges since 25 years therefore we have an understanding of the advantages an exchange gives to the school and the participant pupils when it comes to cultural, linguistic and personal development.

Kooperative Gesamtschule Waldschule

The KGS Waldschule Schwanewede is a Secondary and Upper Secondary school of 1450 pupils and 125 staff which is located in Lower Saxony, in a rural area next to the city state of Bremen. The area on the one hand is agriculturally dominated, on the other it has a suburban character. The KGS Waldschule Schwanewede has run a concrete school profile since 1993. Within these activities we have developed a clearly structured concept of both curricular and extra curricular activities. One important aim is to make the international experience, international work and the development of employability skills possible for our pupils. We think that through a development of our existing European activities we can expect an improved output of our extra curricular programme, a stronger acceptance of staff, pupils and their parents. We strive for a permanent improvement in preparing pupils for the world they will encounter after school.

Gymnasium Beekvliet

Het-Beekvliet-Gymnasium.jpg

Gymnasium Beekvliet is a secondary school situated in the small town of Sint-Michielsgestel in Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands with 825 pupils and 60 teaching staff. It is a gymnasium which prepares pupils for a university education and requires all of them to follow, next to a regular pre-university programme, lessons in the classical languages, Latin and/or Greek. The pupils come from Sint-Michielsgestel and the surrounding region. Gymnasium Beekvliet wishes their pupils to become aware of their role as European citizens. We want pupils to become acquainted with European cultures by exchanging knowledge and conceptions. We consider the international dimension to be of great value and the Erasmus+ project is anchored firmly in the school curriculum. In addition to the Erasmus+-programme we have extensive experience with exchanges with other European schools. The projects which we implement together with partner schools contribute to the realization of European citizenship and raising awareness of environmental and social issues. Additionally, a group of pupils take part in the International Student Leadership Institute (ISLI) or Model United Nations in the Hague (MUN). The school is part of JETNET (a network organisation with the goal to interest young people in modern technology).
